A work in progress to make a simple map based collaborative database of paragliding sites, clubs and pros worldwide.

What you can find here for the moment (as of jun. 2018)

Fullscreen mobile-friendly map showing all pgEarth paragliding sites, pros and clubs as you pan and zoom
Search on flying sites or cities names
Sites details and pictures, clubs and pros
Sites maps: showing site details : main landings and parkings, but also alternate ones for sites with multiple takeoffs and/or landings...
Register/Log in + add + edit information about sites, clibs, pros.
PgEarth is editable again !! Login and help us get the most up to date data !
Former pgEarth members who had a valid email along with their account can use the "forgot your password?" feature in order to login to the new site.
Export to gpx: export sites in the viewport into a "gpx" file.

by editing the information: log in and help keeping the information up to date. The website is efficient only if people like you keep the information correct.
by reporting errors: no need to be logged in : report to the moderators the information that you think should be deleted (trash icons).

by translating/improving the english: information on pgearth is meant to be readen by as many people as possible, that is why we chose to publish in english : translate the data fields if you can or contact us to improve the english of the website itself.

takeoff	from landing drive to Chambotte village. In the village turn to the left, D991b rod, direction St Germain. In St Germain turn to the left, D58b road, direction Cessens. Cross it and take D54 road.When the road stops going up a track goes on your left. Park your car along the road and walk 5mn. Little field with trees. on the edge of cliff you can watch the landing area, near the little port.

weather	don\'t fly with SE, E to NO wind: rotors on the takeoff.
rules	French flying sites are registered at FFVL.FR, the French Free Flight Association. The most recent updates about this area can be found on their website . We highly recommand you to check FFVL information about this site before you come and fly here.
access	From Aix les Bains take the D991 road to ruffieux (north). in the end of the lake, few km after Chambotte village, you cross some house with a parking. A sign on the park: \'interdit aux parapentiste\' (forbiden to paraglider). Landing is just in the back of this, in a field but you\'re not authorized to park your car here.
comments	With south wind it\'s flyable, the wind get round chartreuse mountain and comes from SW. DON\'T FLY HIGHER THAN 320m ABOVE THE TAKEOFF and all along the crest: airplane airway!
