A work in progress to make a simple map based collaborative database of paragliding sites, clubs and pros worldwide.

Fullscreen mobile-friendly map showing all pgEarth paragliding sites, pros and clubs as you pan and zoom
Search on flying sites or cities names
Sites details and pictures, clubs and pros
Sites maps: showing site details : main landings and parkings, but also alternate ones for sites with multiple takeoffs and/or landings...
Register/Log in + add + edit information about sites, clibs, pros.
PgEarth is editable again !! Login and help us get the most up to date data !
Former pgEarth members who had a valid email along with their account can use the "forgot your password?" feature in order to login to the new site.
Export to gpx: export sites in the viewport into a "gpx" file.

takeoff	The take off has 270Â°, easiest with easterly winds.
landing	You can not see the landing from the take off, it is big. Two landing areas, one large and circular belonging to club cerro arco, or the road.
weather	Mendoza has a weather condition called Zonda (similar to Foic in the Swiss alps), a turbulent wind system which usually occurs in winter when it's snowing in the andes to the west. Never fly in these conditions at any time in the day. As always consult with local pilots before flying. The following three days after a Zonda are generally excellent, with good themals and southerly winds. Summer is generally excellent for thermals, with winter being more tranquil.

access	Getting up the mountain is only possible using a 4*4. Contact Horacio +54(0)2616506155 (mob) Leo Jury +54 2615058803 who at the time of writing could offer transportation up the mountain for 30 pesos per trip.
comments	There are two clubs using Cerro Arco. One has a clubhouse with large circular grassy landing area (club Cerro Arco), clubhouse, parking area, bar and BBQ.
